How to Automatically Update Your Graphics Drivers
As we will see below, updating graphics cards manually can
be quite complicated. Plus, with new driver releases every month, keeping up
with the latest software is hard.
Even the most tech-savvy can get tired of constantly
searching for the latest version, so we have developed a simple, automated
solution.
Avast Driver Updater goes far beyond simply updating your
graphics driver; it also checks for outdated sound, network, printer, and
scanner drivers and installs them automatically. It's one less thing to worry

Use Windows Device Manager to update graphics drivers manually
In most cases, Windows Update will not find a new driver.
While companies that make graphics hardware typically release updates every
month, with bug fixes and optimizations for new games, it takes some time for
these changes to go through Microsoft's certification process ( if the company
even cares)
In Windows Update, you usually see a date next to each
entry. If your graphics driver is over three or four months old, try using
Windows Device Manager to update to the latest driver.
Before you start, it is advisable to create a system
recovery point. This creates a backup of all your current drivers, allowing you
to roll back to the previous state if something goes wrong.
To create your backup, right-click on Computer (on your
desktop) and select Properties. Click on the System Protection item on the
left. In the next window, click System Protection, choose to Create, and follow
the on-screen instructions.
Now that you have created a backup follow the steps below to
update your drivers. healthcaresblog
Click the Start menu, type "Device Manager" in the search bar,
then click Device Manager.
Double-click on Display Adapters and then again on your
graphics card. Click the Driver tab in the pop-up window, then click Update
Driver. Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
Alternatively, you can select Browse my Computer for driver
software to choose a driver you have already found and downloaded manually.
Then click Let me pick from a list of drivers on my Computer.
Click Have Disk, then click Browse to navigate to the folder
containing the new driver. Click Next to install it. You should see a screen
like this. Explore the new graphical control panel to learn about new features
or adjust settings. To do this, right-click on the Windows desktop and search
for Intel HD Graphics Options, NVIDIA Control Panel, AMD Radeon Settings, or
Driver Name to discover your new options.beautymagnestism
